This is an all operation integer project for middle schoolers. It is essentially a color by number project that involves adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing with positive and negative integers. The picture is Pikachu. I often give students a survey at the beginning of the year to see which characters they are interested in, and I assign students a specific project based on the survey. I don't tell the students what their picture is supposed to be, to keep them engaged and excited t
This project helps students master two-step and multi-step equations while giving students the opportunity to color their favorite characters. The solution to each question corresponds to a specific color, which will be used to shade in the numbered grid, in accordance with the list of numbers in the bottom of each question box. Questions include integers, decimals, fractions, distributive property, and combining like terms. All of these projects are unique with different questions! Enjoy! :)
