About the store

Experience

I am a licensed occupational therapist working in early intervention and adult inpatient rehab settings. My pediatric work focuses on supporting young children and their families to develop foundational skills in sensory processing, fine motor abilities, emotional regulation, and daily living activities.

Teaching style

I believe in a child-led, family-centered approach that honors each child’s unique strengths, interests, and needs. By empowering children to guide their own learning and growth, and collaborating closely with families, I create supportive and meaningful opportunities for development. My style is flexible, compassionate, and focused on building confidence and independence in everyday skills.

Awards & shining teacher moments

I currently serve as a Lead Therapist in early intervention, where I support my colleagues and families. As a student, I researched early intervention coaching strategies that empower caregivers, and I had the incredible opportunity to travel to Zambia, Africa as a student to teach community members how to use occupational therapy techniques to promote development and independence for individuals with disabilities.

My own education history

I earned my Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology from Penn State University and my Master's in Occupational Therapy from Messiah University. I am currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Coastal Carolina University to further develop my leadership and professional skills.

Additional biographical information

I take pride in creating thoughtful, functional materials for the families and children I work with. My goal is to make other practitioners’ lives a little easier by sharing the tools and strategies that have worked well in my own practice. I believe in collaboration, simplicity, and designing resources that are practical, engaging, and ready to use.
