About the store
Hi there! I’m the teacher behind Plan and Pollinate 🌼🐝. I’ve spent over 20 years in the classroom where most of my experience is with kids in grades 3 - 5, teaching all subjects. I have also worked for Generation Genius, the Office of Public Instruction in Montana and in curriculum and administration in Great Falls, Montana and Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The very best part of my day is seeing that big grin on a student’s face when something clicks.

Here is what I am known for: • Standards-alignment resources ready to plug into your planning and assessment development. • Differentiated student work that doubles as an aligned assessment, providing insight without extra grading. • Cross-curricular activities that mix science, social studies, math, and language arts. • A dash of playful, vintage 70s flair—because learning should be colorful and fun! Whether you need a tool for your vertical grade-level teams, a lesson for tomorrow, or a project that sparks curiosity and acts as a creativity way to check for understanding, you’ll find it here. Let’s help your busy bees bloom, one lesson at a time. 🌼🐝

Additional biographical information

I believe that collaborative planning and data-driven decision making are key to a successful year! But given the limited amount of time teachers have to plan together, the important work of collaboration and data analysis are often no more than a toe tip into a very deep pool. My intention with these alignment tools and assessments is to save the frustrating tasks of analyzing standards so that planning meaningful lessons (while looking at achievement wins and challenges) becomes the focus of your collaborations.
