About the store
Welcome to the Planet Schooling Store. My name is Lucy Legan, and I’m passionate about empowering teachers, homeschoolers, and students to take meaningful environmental actions that create a lasting impact. With decades of experience in environmental education across Brazil and Australia, I’ve dedicated my career to equipping educators with the tools they need to inspire critical thinking, problem-solving, and optimism in the face of global challenges. I’m the author of several best-selling educational books on sustainability literacy and permaculture, including Planet Schooling: How to Create a Permaculture Living Laboratory in Your Backyard. As the co-founder of Ecocentro IPEC in Brazil—Latin America’s largest sustainability reference centre—I’ve worked to develop practical, scalable solutions for creating greener communities.
