We teach language the way we teach music and we teach music as a language, building cumulatively and tailoring lessons to the students individual weaknesses and encouraging consistency in learning by positively enforcing daily practice. Both music and language employ the abilities to read, write, listen, and speak, communicate or perform. We believe in presenting a well-rounded course and ask our students to touch upon every aspect of the language or technique during each session. We supplement our classes and lessons with exercises from our favorite resources, in addition to articles and story books, games, videos, songs and rhythms, and activities that inspire critical thinking, conversation, movement, exploration, and performance. Adult language students are asked to engage more heavily in conversation, composition, and pronunciation, while young children are inspired to play and learn vocabulary in an immersive environment.Over the course our 20 year teaching career, we have developed a unique and strategic method of Language and Music Instruction for children as young as 1.5 years to adults of retirement age.
