This is a get to know you sheet for students to fill in. This is an excellent first day activity for students and something that can be kept in a substitute binder. It is important to understand a student from their perspective. The "Getting to Know YOU!" activity shows students that you respect their perspectives, pronouns and learning styles.

My teaching style centres around creating community within my classroom. I am passionate about creating an inclusive space where students not only learn how to communicate effectively with each other, but also feel safe to try new things and learn beyond their comfort zone.
