Teaching style

I like to teach using real life experience as much as possible. Students are often given opportunities to teach and learn from each other while working collaboratively. I teach my core content as a whole group first before working in small groups or individually.

Awards & shining teacher moments

Outstanding New Teacher awarded by the Diocese of Wichita in January 2020

My own education history

I have my Bachelor's in Elementary Education from the University of Kansas and a Master's in Special Education from Pittsburg State University.
