Additional biographical information

Hello! 👋 My name is Donna, and I’m the human behind Play Based Fun. A little bit about me - I am a mom of two active kids, a preschooler and kindergartener. I’m also a registered early childhood educator who has worked in both kindergarten and special education for almost 15 years! Play Based Fun was born while I was on maternity leave, trying to entertain and educate my kids (and keep my sanity) during the Covid lockdown. When I returned to work, I continued to create activities with my diverse learners in mind. I aim for my activities to include visual instructions and differentiated versions whenever possible. I want to help! I want to help you cut down on challenging behaviors in your classrooms, and engage your students in activities that help them to learn, be successful in their goals, and gain independence! I also get how limited your time is! I know that your classroom is busy and your preps are short! I want to help you save time by creating resources that are low prep and can be reused over and over! I hope you and your students will love my resources as much as I love making them. xo Donna
