Calendar Kit: A visual 12 month calendar with simple pictures with easy to read numbers. This calendar can also be a resource for students to help support them in learning numbers, number recognition, counting, and patterns. This calendar kit can be used for a traditional or linear calendar. Changing the pictures each month helps to show the change in time. I often tell my kids that a special occasion will come when the calendar has x. For example school will start when the calendar has apple

Use play dough or manipulatives (mini erasers, pom poms, etc) to build the number. Then use play dough or manipulatives to show the amount on the tens frame. Version 1: Errorless: Helps teach the skill. The student will put manipulatives on each dot in the tens frame. Version 2: Show the number: Student independently show the number in the tens frame using manipulatives.
