I love having meaningful posters in my classroom. I created this downloadable poster for my yearbook class. They learn vocabulary associated with the yearbook and this poster/handout works great for helping them study and referencing throughout the year.
This resource is one that I've used to help my yearbook team develop a theme for the yearbook. I have each student complete this theme project, they present them, then we combine multiple student ideas into one theme for our yearbook. Think of this project like a "mood board".
I used this lesson to introduce my yearbook class to pitching a sales pitch to local businesses who might be interested in putting their ad in our yearbook. The students compare selling a product on shark tank, to selling space in our yearbook to a local business for their ad. There is a couple of days worth of lessons here with videos and activities.

Use the Netflix Documentary, The Social Dilemma, to pair with "The Crucible" by Arthur Miller to supplement teaching the dangers of rumors, mass hysteria, and lack of privacy. This resource is to be used as a reflection of the documentary. You can either show the documentary in class OR allow the students to watch this documentary for extra credit!

Yearbook Weekly Work Log I created this weekly work log for my yearbook students, so that they can be in charge of their work and progress on their page assignments. I keep the work logs in a tray and the students pull them each day and fill in the chart for the day. I check their progress on the work log and on the program. I love how I can see what they need and their goals that they set for themselves each day.
