I love having beautiful anchor charts/posters in my classroom for students to reference during lessons. This poster is perfect for when the students are reading narrative, analyzing them, or writing them. I had this poster printed and have it hanging in my classroom. I also give a copy of this handout to each of my students to reference, especially when they are writing their own narratives!

I like to use this poster with novels and short stories. The students have assigned colors to code their close reading and help them as they analyze their text. I printed this poster and hung it in my classroom as well as printed a copy for each student to have in their binders.

I print out this poster and laminate it. Then, as we are in our textbooks or novels, I use a dry erase marker to write what page we are on. I hang this on the board in the front of my room. My visual learners absolutely love this.
