About the store

Experience

20+ years as a primary school teacher, specializing in early childhood education (ages 5–7). I have worked with learners from preschool through adolescence across different subject areas. In recent years I have focused on Spanish language teaching for young learners.

Teaching style

I believe motivation is the key to learning, especially for young learners. I design my resources around play and games, because when children are having fun they learn naturally and effortlessly. I also believe in connecting new vocabulary and concepts to everyday life experiences — helping kids make real, meaningful connections from the very beginning.

Awards & shining teacher moments

Watching a child say their first words in Spanish and light up with pride — that's my greatest reward. Seeing how they gradually incorporate what they've learned and start using it naturally in their everyday life is incredibly fulfilling. And the affection you receive from children and families over the years is truly one of a kind — something no award could ever replace. After 20+ years in the classroom, these moments never get old.

My own education history

Qualified primary school teacher specializing in early childhood and lower primary education (Kindergarten through Grade 2). Specialized training in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language (ELE) for children and adolescents through Instituto Cervantes and ELE Internacional.

Additional biographical information
