This digital resource has student in a Google Sheet. Students solve the double digit addition problems and enter in the sum. When they enter in the sum correctly, parts of the hidden image (a dinosaur) appear. Great resource to add to Google Classroom or for an independent center activity.

This is the goal setting and reflection form I made to go with EL Education Labs. However, this could be used for any subject area. COMPLETELY EDITABLE!

COMPLETELY EDITABLE! This includes 3 practice sheets that go with the 2.NBT.B.5 Assessment I have created. The learning target and standard are included at the top. It has students solving the equation using 2 of the three strategies; open number line, breaking numbers apart or base ten blocks. Problems require regrouping and non-regrouping. 1 word problem is included with each practice.

COMPLETELY EDITABLE! A pre and post assessment is included in this product with different problems. The assessment requires students to solve the equation using two of the three strategies; open number line, base ten blocks, or breaking numbers apart. Half the problems are subtraction and half are addition including problems that require regrouping and no regrouping. The assessments include 4 word problems each. There are a total of 14 problems to solve.

This is something I use for students to reflect on their work after their post assessment. It really gets students thinking about where they are at academically and what they still need to work on. In the boxes I have students write their scores. We use 4, 3, 2, 1 based on a rubric but any grading scale would work. You can write the assessment name at the top to use with any assessment and then students reflect on 3 questions: 1. Which assessment did you score better on? How do you know? 2.

Here is my version of the EL Education student response pages. I though the ones that EL made were a little bland and did not have enough writing. I added writing lines to each page so students had a place to answer what they noticed about the tools. I also made unit cover pages with the guiding questions and response lines for students to answer the guiding question. I will print these on colored paper and stick each unit in their paper folder with brads so it is easy for them to identify what
