Teaching style

My teaching style is rooted in embracing diversity and accepting challenges head-on. I’m passionate about fostering a growth mindset in my students, encouraging them to think freely and collaborate actively. I value hands-on learning and rigorous instruction, especially for today’s generation of learners. Building strong bonds with my students is key, as it motivates them to push their limits and achieve more than they ever thought possible.

Awards & shining teacher moments

Honored to be named Teacher of the Year at Mount Logan Middle School and for the Logan City School District in 2025. Grateful to be chosen by the Utah Jazz as a "Most Valuable Educator" recipient for the 2025-26 season. Grateful to work alongside such inspiring students and educators every day.

My own education history
