About the store

Experience

I’ve been teaching 5th grade ELA and Social Studies for over 8 years, with a strong focus on meaningful instruction that blends rigor with student engagement. Beyond the classroom, I’m also a game designer, using creative incentives and interactive strategies to keep students motivated throughout the year. If you're looking for quick printables or last-minute fillers, this store might not be for you. But if you're in need of complete lessons, full-day resources, or thoughtful class-period assignments that can save your day when you're out or need structured support, you're in the right place. Everything here is designed to keep students learning even when you're not in the room.

Teaching style

My teaching style blends engagement, structure, and flexibility. I believe in incentivizing assignments to motivate students and promote consistent effort. I also focus on targeted practice—using recurring question types and scaffolding strategies to build mastery across texts and subjects. Collaboration is another core component of my classroom, where students support one another through peer learning and differentiated grouping. Whether your style is highly structured, discussion-based, student-led, or somewhere in between, the resources in this store are designed to be versatile and easy to adapt. Each lesson includes clear objectives and thorough planning so any educator regardless of teaching style can confidently use them right away.

Awards & shining teacher moments

While I don’t teach for the accolades, I’ve had the privilege of earning recognition for the impact I make in the classroom. From being nominated by students for “Teacher of the Month” to leading a campus-wide reading growth initiative, my proudest moments come from seeing students thrive—especially those who once struggled to engage. One of my most meaningful experiences was turning our entire curriculum into an interactive game-based challenge. Not only did it boost student motivation, but it also transformed our classroom culture into one of curiosity, teamwork, and growth. Whether through academic gains, creative engagement, or classroom innovation, I’m committed to creating memorable, effective learning experiences—and the resources in this store reflect that same commitment.

My own education history

I earned my degree in Education with a focus on English Language Arts and Social Studies, and later expanded my training through professional development in curriculum design, digital learning tools, and classroom gamification. Along the way, I’ve continued to study best practices in differentiated instruction, student motivation, and instructional scaffolding. But beyond formal education, I believe some of the best learning happens through experience, reflection, and innovation. My lessons are shaped not only by what I studied, but also by what I’ve seen work—with real students, in real classrooms, every single day.

Additional biographical information

When I’m not in the classroom or designing lessons, I’m usually sipping coffee, jotting down ideas, or turning everyday moments into teachable ones. I know what it’s like to scramble for a solid plan during a chaotic week—and that’s part of what inspired this store. I wanted to create resources that actually work in real classrooms, with real students, on real timelines. Whether you're a first-year teacher building your toolkit or a veteran looking for fresh, dependable content, I’ve been there—and I hope what I’ve created here can help lighten your load just a bit.
