Probability and Venn Diagrams Notes and Practice

Probability and Venn Diagrams Notes and Practice contains notes on basic probability vocabulary and calculations using Venn diagrams to organize data. Basic vocabulary terms include both theoretical and experimental probability, sample space, subset, complement, union, and intersection. There are practice activities which use probability with a variety of problem types including Venn diagrams, and there is also a practice activity that focuses solely on Venn diagrams. This resource is also inclu
Preview of Probability and Venn Diagrams Break the Code Activity

Probability and Venn Diagrams Break the Code Activity

Probability and Venn diagrams Break the Code activity provides practice using Venn diagrams to answer questions involving unions, intersections, and complements of sets. There are 31 self-checking practice problems, with some involving probability and some that do not. Students will solve the problems and mark the answers off in the code vault. The number remaining when all questions have been answered will reveal the combination for the safe.
