Teaching style
I strive to maintain an open and collaborative classroom that allows students to explore their interests and discover potential career paths. I strike a balance between freedom and structure because I want my students to become independent thinkers and self-learners.
The majority of my instruction is project-based, allowing students to learn through hands-on exposure to technology. I rely on the scaffolding technique to give them increasingly challenging problems to solve and autonomy.
As for my role in the classroom, I see myself as a mentor and guide on my students' journey to self-discovery. I would rather give students the resources to learn for themselves than to spoon-feed them. Since technology is a fast-paced, ever-changing field, it is vital that my students leave my classroom equipped to keep up with the latest innovations.

If I were a superhero, my superpower would be learning. I love learning new things! I am especially curious about history, art, technology, design, and music.
I work from home for a K12 EdTech Company working with teachers, substitutes, and admins across the US and Canada.
I love to travel and am a coffee junkie.
I have a beautiful wife, a 2-year-old daughter, 3 dogs, and 1 cat.
