About the store

Experience

I have taught mostly 7th and 8th grade general science in a public school setting. This includes physics (forces and motion), geology, biology, and chemistry. I also teach creative coding utilizing the Python language.

Teaching style

I prefer hands-on lesson plans! They key, however, is taking the time to circle back to the underlying concepts to solidify ideas in students' minds. I also understand that sometimes we just need a worksheet- to review, to solidify, to focus, for reading practice, or for many other reasons.

Additional biographical information

My subjects are science and coding, but I'm also passionate about literacy and engagement. I want my lessons to tell a story, and I want my students to be able to read it!
