About the store

I spent 5 years teaching PreK and am now teaching 3rd Grade. Although I have worked with elementary aged students through many of my past careers. I worked with all aged children for 7 years through a local Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) chapter. I also managed an elementary after school program for 3 years.

One of the hardest things for me is to find time to teach my students cursive! I made this for my team to align with our spelling curriculum through McGraw Hill Wonders 2023 version! That way we get some cursive in while also studying our spelling word! Two birds right??? It has ***three*** versions! I am a 150%-er! I always look for new and innovative teaching strategies! I am gimmicky and have no problem making a fool of myself if it keeps the kids engaged and helps them retain what they are learning! I prefer bright colors and I like to give book characters their own voice and facial expressions when I read! I strive to love my students as if they are my own. And I work hard to partner with parents at whatever level they need.

My Bachelor's is actually in Sociology-Criminology. I went back and completed 48 education hours and got my certificate in Early Childhood and have since then completed my dual certification for Elementary Education.
