Participation Strips
These participation strips are designed to cut out and give to each student. Every begins with a 100 for participation. If a student is not participating or is being a distraction during groups work, labs, etc. a 10 point section is cut off from the strip. The students turn in their strips at the end of the activity/lab for a grade. They are pretty effective classroom management strategy while doing group work or cooperative learning.
