I have 10+ experience in the social studies classroom with ELL students, inclusion classrooms, and with AP students. I love to make my classroom full of laughter, critical thinking, and collaboration. I love to make my classroom full of laughter, critical thinking, and collaboration. Every year, my process, products, and units evolve to meet the needs of my students and help them achieve a 98% (2024) passage rate on the AP Government test and 96% (2021-2024) on the state tests.

Awards & shining teacher moments

I have 6 years of AP Government experience, and 10 years in American and World History. This year, I had a 95+% pass rate for both the state tests and AP tests in US history & AP Government. In 2022 I won a teacher of the year award for the high school.
