Number of the Day PowerPoint Numbers 31 to 60 assist students with number sense skills. This PowerPoint is the second in a series of four. When used with the Number of the Day Worksheets 31 to 60 it enhances students place value skills and is a valuable tool used as a daily warm up.

I use Number of the Day PowerPoint along with Number of the Day worksheets daily to assist students with number sense skills. The Power Point changes as the number becomes larger to include more skills needed. Tools used to address skills are ten frames, number lines, part part whole, greater and less than, coins, tally marks, hundreds charts, place value, number words, and much more. Students will be able to view the examples at their own pace while studying at home or in small groups. There will be less confusion when the teacher is not available to assist with difficult concepts, such as long division.

Four step by step examples of double digit multiplication strategies to add to your google classroom or to use with the whole group. Fourth grade students can go back over strategies while studying at home or in small groups. The presentation will allow the student to work at their own pace or review the Box Method, Partial Products, Distributive, and Standard Algorithm (XXO).

Number of the Day 31 to 60 is a continuation of Number of the Day 1 to 30. I use these worksheets with the Number of the Day PowerPoint 31 to 60 as a warm up to all my math lessons. It provides students with Number Sense skills they need to be successful in first grade.

I use this with the "Number of the Day PowerPoint 1 to 30" daily. Together they can be useful tools to introduce and review skills first grade students need to be successful with number sense.
