Kim and Dawne are teacher leaders in their content areas for their district. Dawne Jokinsky has been the Social Emotional Learning Building Coordinator for her middle school since 2017. She develops structured content for a daily 20-minute mentoring time. She is also a lead math teacher since 2010. Kim Mroch is a veteran classroom teacher. She has worked as a contractor for the Kentucky Dept Of Education, U.S. Dept of Education, University of Kentucky and Pearson writing standards, reviewing assessments and aligning content.

Heads Up! A Clue Giving Game (Category Starts with the letter B)
The word slide should be displayed behind a person on a smart board or TV. The person in the hot seat only knows the category but not the word. The rest of the class can see the word. You have the students in the class make their own clues for each word. The person in the hot seat tries to guess as many words as they can using the clues in the given time (you decide). This game is very fun and can be played lots of different ways!
