Quick way to check homework! I print and make copies to have for a few weeks. I, or you could have a student, either put a check if complete, a dash if it is incomplete and a O for no homework. If they bring in the homework another day I just put a check in the middle of the O. Only one sheet of paper that records what homework students do complete for two weeks.
Since there are no such jobs as "line leader" in the real world, I decided to create a basic list of classroom jobs that can be related to "real world" jobs. The students were excited about the job titles and had fun creating new ones such as Accountant for our economy system and Biologist for our class pet responsibilities. Enjoy!
