Practicality

I use this form to send home with the student to inform the parent that there was missing homework. The student is supposed to fill in the name of the assignment and then select the reason why he/she didn't have it. This form allows me to leverage the student's time so that I don't have to write a note home.

It's hard to keep track of everything that is happening in the classroom, so I created this tracker to ensure I would remember which students I had to collect homework from, who needed to turn in a behavior reflection sheet, and more.

I use this graphic organizer to teach the basics about writing a paragraph. I have found that using the hamburger analogy really helps students remember the order.

I use this in conjunction with Khan Academy. My students are in 3rd grade and I really encourage them to work hard and pass the early math mission, which will provide them with a solid foundation for the rest of third grade. As an incentive I reward them with this "30 Minute Free-time Coupon". The student love it and as a result they work really hard! I could customize this resource to fit whatever need.

I use this to test my students on their Weekly Words Their Way Groups. I have Day of the Week listed so they always know to put what day it is.

This is a guide I give to students for them to do a Book Talk about Main Characters after they do Read to Self, or Independent Reading. They use the See-Saw (iPad app) to either draw a picture or take a picture of the book they were reading.

This goes with my spelling packet and can be a different option for the Day 3 activity.
