I am a lifelong lover of school and a current 9th grade English teacher! I have been teaching for over a decade and have experience at the middle and high school levels. Teaching style

My teaching style is focused on developing meaningful relationships with learners and encouraging a love of reading and storytelling. In my classroom, we encourage, we grow, we create, we explore, and we learn!

My own education history

I have a BA in English and French from North Park University and earned my credential at Loyola Marymount University. I was a 2010 corps member with Teach For America in the SF Bay Area. I also have a Masters of Science from WGU in Curriculum and Instruction. I hope to begin working on my doctoral degree in the next couple of years.
