Experience

I am a lifelong lover of school and a current 9th grade English teacher! I have been teaching for over a decade and have experience at the middle and high school levels. I have always loved curriculum and technology development, and I have decided to use my experience in the classroom and my love for digital design to help others add some flair to their teaching.

Teaching style

My teaching style is focused on developing meaningful relationships with learners and encouraging a love of reading and storytelling. In my classroom, we encourage, we grow, we create, we explore, and we learn!

My own education history

I have a BA in English and French from North Park University and earned my credential at Loyola Marymount University. I was a 2010 corps member with Teach For America in the SF Bay Area. I also have a Masters of Science from WGU in Curriculum and Instruction. I hope to begin working on my doctoral degree in the next couple of years.
