As a SLP, I'm always looking for handouts that explain strategies in a way that the families I work with can easily understand even after I've left a session. This table explains the name, definition, and a practical example of the indirect language stimulation strategies I use most when working with infants and toddlers and their families. Here is a freebie visual schedule + a few images that I have utilized in therapy. Typically I laminate one sheet of card stock, run a strip of Velcro down the length of the center and attach small pieces of Velcro on the back of images representing objects/activities of interest. If possible, I also try to target production of sentences using carrier phrases such as “I will ___ with the ____.”
