If you're looking for a concise way to explain all the tips and tricks you are using in your therapy sessions look no further! Use this packet to review an emotion each month or week, depending on how you are including this in your sessions. Laminate each emotion and attach the emotion pictures with velcro. Use dry-erase markers to fill in the statements. The statements target self-soothing strategies, and associate the appropriate action with an emotion. Use as a monthly activity or hole punch and use binder rings for a session activity.

This book was created for use during a push-in session for a nonverbal child with autism. It follows a typical morning meeting structure - day, month, year, weather, season. January marks the half-way point in the school year for many students (and teachers!). Forecast with your kids what they think they will be doing each month until June. It’s a great way to take the focus off of goals, deadlines, and testing. Instead, teach inferencing by “forecasting” what could happen that month. Then go back and fill in what happened! Compare and contrast what actually happened vs. what they forecasted to happen For the younger set, have them color what they think will happe

Teach social language with this great game! Use the game board, or use the cards alone. Each player picks a card with every turn. Use a spinner with numbers to determine how far that player goes. After reading the social situation on the cards provided, determine if the situation was sour or sweet. Sort the cards into the appropriate candy jar.
