Speedy Speech: Car/To Go Activities for /r/

Print and hand out to your kiddos for carryover in the car! The car is a great way to quickly and effectively practice sounds - quality, not quantity. Don't drill and kill with hundreds of words, have students practice at home with a small amount of words while they're going to and from some place! The book includes 3 pages - initial, medial, and final /r/ words, 12 words per book. This is a great way to ensure your kiddos are practicing their sounds without making articulation a chore!

Sweet or Sour? A Pragmatics Game!

Teach social language with this great game! Use the game board, or use the cards alone. Each player picks a card with every turn. Use a spinner with numbers to determine how far that player goes. After reading the social situation on the cards provided, determine if the situation was sour or sweet. Sort the cards into the appropriate candy jar. First one on the game board to get to the candy jar wins!
