I’m an English Language Arts teacher with 10 years of experience teaching grades 7, 9, 10, and 12. Throughout my career, I’ve focused primarily on American and World Literature, helping students connect timeless texts to their own lives and the world around them.
My teaching philosophy centers on exploration, engagement, and student-centered learning. I believe students learn best when they are actively involved—questioning, discussing, and making meaning for themselves rather than simply receiving information. Because of this, I design resources that encourage critical thinking, collaboration, and real-world connections.
In my classroom, I strive to create a space where students feel supported, challenged, and empowered to grow as readers, writers, and thinkers. The resources I create are built with both rigor and accessibility in mind, making them easy to implement while still being meaningful and effective.
Thank you for being here and supporting my work!
