Hi! I'm Elizabeth Polinsky. I am a middle school math teacher in metro Detroit. I have been teaching for 23 years. I hold an undergraduate degree from Michigan State University in Elementary Education with minors in English and music. I have a math certification from the University of Michigan Dearborn. I obtained my master's degree from Oakland University as a reading specialist. In my district, I am the Content Area Leader for all Math 8 classes- I create all the common assessments based on the Common Core Standards and I lead the professional development and data dives for the Math 8 team.
