With more than 40 years as a professional educator, mentor to aspiring teachers, and literacy coach, reading is not only a part of her daily curriculum but also a passion for CC Linstroth. Over the span of her career, CC has impacted the lives of thousands of children dedicating her time to education both inside and outside the classroom. CC raised her own two children and is currently helping to raise her three grandchildren on the same principles of literacy found in Practickle. CC knows that strong reading comprehension skills are the foundation of a great education.

During my forty-five years of teaching, I’ve never used the same lesson twice. I’m always tweaking my work based on the responses and engagement of my students. The lessons may not always be fancy, but my ELA lessons are always grounded in brain research, Best Practices, and the standards. You will see quite a bit of collaboration as students spend the majority of their time creating, analyzing, and reflecting. I’m flexible, creative, responsive, and have a great sense of humor☺ Entering the classroom, you’ll feel an atmosphere that is a healthy combination of excitement, caring, support, and enjoyment. You must open the heart to have full access to the brain!
