Experience

Since 2018, I have had the privilege of teaching 7th and 8th graders in the middle Tennessee area. My passion lies in making mathematics engaging and accessible for all students. In addition to math, I've also enjoyed teaching history, STEM, and technology. Beyond the classroom, I homeschool my child, bringing the same dedication and creativity to their education. My diverse teaching experiences enrich the resources I create, designed to inspire and support both teachers and students on their learning journeys.

Teaching style

My teaching philosophy centers around creating a supportive and interactive learning environment. I believe in the power of hands-on activities and real-world applications to make abstract concepts more tangible. My approach is student-centered, fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills through collaborative projects and engaging lessons. I strive to build a classroom culture where curiosity is encouraged, and every student feels confident in their ability to succeed. By integrating technology and innovative methods, I aim to make learning both fun and meaningful.

My own education history

I am a proud graduate of Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU), where I earned my degree in education. My time at MTSU equipped me with a strong foundation in teaching methodologies and a deep understanding of student development. Throughout my academic journey, I was inspired by passionate educators who instilled in me the importance of lifelong learning and the impact a dedicated teacher can have on their students. This experience continues to shape my approach to teaching and resource creation.
