This journal page is great for using with students. It has visuals for each letter of the alphabet to support young writers. The page is unlined to allow students to draw and write in a developmentally appropriate manner. I currently use this in my Pre-K classroom. I have found success in using the visuals because it allows students to make the connection between the animal/picture and the letter or sound as they are beginning to write. I have even found that my students who are in the letter s
