About the store

Experience

Hi! I'm a PreK teacher with almost 10 years experience in Early Childhood Education. I've taught students from ages 2-6 years old and simply LOVE the level of development that takes place during this stage of life.

Teaching style

I am a play based and Reggio style teacher. I believe that allowing the child to lead in activities opens up new curiosity for them and allows for a more engaging learning experience. Resources here will be geared toward child led learning in which teachers do not need to participate, but rather observe.

My own education history

I received my bachelor's degree in Psychology from Grinnell College in Iowa. My focus was in Developmental Psychology and general elementary education. I then went on to receive my master's degree in Early Childhood Education with a focus on Leadership & Advocacy from Erikson Institute in Chicago.
