About the store
Hello! Welcome to Prep Life Learning — a space created to help students move beyond memorizing information and begin applying what they learn to everyday life. My name is Brittney and education has been at the center of my life for many years. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education, a Preschool Teacher Certification, and an SEI Endorsement. Over the years, I’ve worked with a wide range of learners in different educational settings, including tutoring students from elementary through adulthood in reading and math, serving as a before-school instructor, and teaching reading in Adult Basic Education for four years. One of the most impactful experiences in my journey was working with adult learners who were reading at approximately a 3rd-grade level. That experience deeply shaped the mission behind Prep Life Learning. It helped me realize how important it is to support students early, strengthen foundational skills, build confidence, and help children truly understand how learning connects to real life before gaps continue into adulthood. In addition to my professional experience, I am also in my 8th year of homeschooling, which has given me firsthand experience understanding different learning styles, strengths, challenges, and the importance of flexible, meaningful education. At Prep Life Learning, I create resources designed to: Strengthen foundational academic skills Encourage critical thinking and independence Connect classroom concepts to real-life situations Support different types of learners Make learning engaging, practical, and approachable My teaching style is hands-on, focused on helping students build confidence through meaningful learning experiences. Many of my resources incorporate life skills, problem-solving, creativity, and real-world application because I believe students learn best when they understand why their learning matters. Whether you are a parent, teacher, homeschooler, tutor, or interventionist, my goal is to provide resources that are practical, engaging, and supportive for the students you serve. Thank you for being here and supporting Prep Life Learning. I hope these resources help your learners grow not only academically, but confidently in everyday life as well.
