At Presto Plans, we are dedicated to empowering educators in middle and high school ELA by providing high-quality, ready-to-use resources. Our mission is to take the prep work off your plate with engaging lessons, units, assignments, and activities that your students will love!

We specialize in creating engaging educational resources that blend rigor with fun, proving that learning can be both challenging and engaging. We prioritize making real-world connections and integrate a variety of learning styles into our instruction, activities, and assessment to create lessons that will keep all students engaged.

Presto Plans is a team of teachers, led by Bonnie Hamer who spent a decade in the ELA classroom teaching all the middle and high school grades. She has completed a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors in English Language and Literature and a minor in French Second Language. She also has a Bachelor of Middle and High School Education and a Masters advanced certification in literacy education. She has also received International Baccalaureate Training (English B) and has received multiple trainings in resource and methods (Special Education). The other dedicated teachers on the Presto Plans team also have extensive educational and classroom experience in English Language Arts.

I spent nearly a decade in the classroom teaching English just like you. During that time, most of my free time outside of the classroom was spent developing or searching for resources, planning for my classes, or marking the stacks of paper that continually piled up. I fell into a pattern of sacrificing my own time with my family and friends to work, and I still never quite felt like I was doing enough.
