About the store
Hi! My name is Jenna and I have been teaching for over 10 years. I have two Bachelor's degrees. One in Early Childhood Education PK-4 and the second is Special Education. I have a Master's Degree in Curriculum & Instruction. I have taught all grades from Kindergarten to Fourth Grade as well as Learning Support. I have also had the privilege of being an Elementary Principal. I have been thoroughly trained in the Science of Reading through Aims Institute. I love teaching with my whole heart and could not imagine doing anything else with my life. I love having students be highly engaged in their learning and moving around during whole group instruction.

OCR Grade 1 ELA Units Overview

Teaching Using Open Court Reading in first grade? I have created comprehensive weekly parent/student handouts as a supplemental resource to use in tandem with 1st Grade OCR. These are to be used in conjunction with McGraw Hill SRA Open Court Reading (phonics, reading, and writing bands). This will inform parents exactly what their child is learning each week and gives items to practice at home to help their child be more successful. Please enjoy this free resource!
