About the store
Prezzy Development is an educational consulting and curriculum development company committed to transforming the educational landscape through an innovative approach to curriculum and instruction. Grounded in trauma-informed and trauma-responsive principles, our mission is to provide a safe and nurturing learning environment where students can thrive academically and emotionally. Founder, Jenn Prestien is a passionate educator with 11 years of teaching ​experience and 7 years of leadership experience. She is dedicated ​to anti-racism work aimed at dismantling systems of oppression ​through education and activism. With proven expertise in teaching, ​curriculum development, and team building, Jenn excels in ​analyzing and responding to data to create favorable learning ​environments for both students and teachers She is currently ABD with a PhD in Psychology - Teaching & ​Technology emphasis. Her research is grounded in Rosenblatt’s ​Transactional Theory and focuses on how literary texts can ​support the development of resilience in individuals. Jenn has a Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction and a Bachelors ​in Teaching & Learning and is currently attending Teachers ​College - Columbia University for a Masters in Educational ​Leadership.
