Welcome to my newest journey! My name is Jenn and I've been teaching for seven years among various states and countries! I currently teach Year 4 Cambridge Curriculum (U.S. Grade 3) in the Middle East for students with learning difficulties and English Language Learners with a variety of home languages. I've worked with many different curriculums and many different demographics of students which has indefinitely shaped my approach to learning and how to meet students where they are. I'm very passionate about early literacy and building the vocabulary skills necessary for success across the subjects! I hope you find something you love and need for your students.

Teaching style

A student-centered learning environment which is created through hands-on experience, visual references, songs & rhymes, call-and-response, and a variety of scaffolding to meet each student's individual learning needs.

My own education history

Bacherlor's of Science in Early Childhood/Childhood Education with a concentration in French from The State University of New York at Fredonia. Master's in Education - Language & Literacy from the Univeristy of North Carolina Wilmington. Three years teaching experience abroad to English learners and students with learning difficulties.

When I'm not teaching you can find me in the ballet studio, reading a Freida McFadden novel, watching a random documentary on YouTube or simply enjoying a night of board games with close friends or family!
