Currently teaching 2nd grade. Also taught 4th grade, 1st grade, kindergarten, preschool, and was a preschool director.

Teaching style

Cross-curricular, integrated lessons that target as many Core Standards as possible. I am very focused on teaching the Core Standards in a way that makes learning fun yet meaningful for my students.

I earn "Distinguished" levels in all areas of my teacher performance reviews. I have created curriculum and other methodology for my school to use. I also have lead some professional development courses for our staff.

Additional biographical information

I'm a mom of two little ones and a passionate primary educator. I've taught all grades PK-4th except for 3rd grade. I finally landed my position teaching 2nd grade and I have found my home! I am a creative person who thrives on new ideas and creating projects to make learning fun and meaningful for my students.
