Christmas math activities: multiplication and division puzzles and mysteries
This activity is for 3rd and 4th grades.
It contains four puzzles and two mysteries (see pictures) which require solving multiplication and division problems. The puzzles have two different levels of difficulty.
The puzzles are also a coloring in activity upon completion.
Great for warm ups before math centers.

Beginning of the year math assessment 4th grade
This math assessment is a review of many common core standards from the 3rd grade. It will give the teacher an insight on the mathematical abilities of each student in the classroom for the purposes of grouping students for leveled work.
It includes 41 questions with solutions as well as recommendations for setting out the math groups.

Winter Olympics math dice games
In groups of four, you will compete for the gold medals at the Winter Olympics in five events.
The math skills involved are:
- addition of whole numbers and decimals
- place value of decimal numbers
- ordering, interpreting and calculating data
- chance
Aimed at 5th, 6th and 7th grades, these activities can be completed over five days.
