I am a previous National Board Certified Math Teacher (High School) with 20 years experience teaching Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus and College Algebra. I spent time as an elementary school principal and elementary supervisor for the district specializing in mathematics. I retired in 2022 to spend time with my family and friends. I still work as a tutor for students in math and ACT preparation.

Experience

I am a previous National Board Certified Math Teacher (High School) with 20 years experience teaching Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus and College Algebra. I spent time as an elementary school principal and elementary supervisor for the district specializing in mathematics. I retired in 2022 to spend time with my family and friends. I still work as a tutor for students in math and ACT preparation.

Teaching style

I believe students need to practice in the format they are expected to be proficient at when it comes to the end-of-the-year assessments. If they are expected to "grid" their answers, they should practice with that on their regular assessments in the classroom. If they will test on computer, they should be accustomed to testing on computer.
