This activity is an interactive scavenger hunt where your students will need to solve various trig equations in order to find the locations of their "world tour". As they solve each problem and find the answer at the new location they will mark their order on a world map. They will get a fun geography refresher for the locations of several major cities as a bonus. This activity contains 14 trig equations of above average difficulty for pre-cal so I would be recommended having students work in p
This is a fun activity for your students to practice finding component form from points, vector addition with scalars, unit vectors, and finding magnitude. You can post these questions around the room or in the hall and students will solve the questions in order to find where to go next. There are 14 individual questions which vary in difficultly so I recommend pairing students together.
This game is a fun way for your students to not only practice converting from rectangular form to polar form but also practice graphing polar coordinates. My students love this game and want me to make additional versions to play with future topics!
