Día de los muertos themed passes that will look great in any Spanish classroom! This product comes as a PDF with a link that will direct you to the Google Slide where you can edit and change these to your liking. The passes are large-ish in size on purpose. They take up half of a standard printer sheet in total. Maybe the obnoxious size will keep students from loosing or misplacing these passes. Who knows maybe the fun clip art and colors will even encourage them to hurry back to class. We can

About the store

Experience

8 years of experience as a classroom Spanish teacher at levels 6th-12th grade. Presently, teaching and sharing what I do as a Spanish 3, CI teacher on Instagram as. @Profe.Sierra!

Teaching style

I teach using acquisition-driven methods like comprehensible input, novels, technology, and lots AND lots of movement all on an 85-minute block! I believe first and foremost in connection over curriculum, culturally comprehensive teaching, and helping students grow into global citizens.

My own education history

I grew up with a French/Spanish teacher for a mom. I received my BA in Spanish and ESL K-12 education from the University of Northern Iowa. While I was studying at UNI, I lived and studied at La Universidad de Oviedo in Oviedo, Spain, for one year. I loved my time in Europe and did an extended summer program in Strasbourg, France, as well. Presently pursuing my master's in Curriculum and Instruction!

Additional biographical information

I live in Des Moines, Iowa, and teach in a department of 5 amazing Spanish teachers, 1 Japanese teacher, and 1 German teacher, all sharing and collaborating on how to do this crazy CI language teaching thing! I am the mom of a 2.5-year-old, and he keeps us quite busy, so when I have time to save others' time -- my only hope is that I give back as much as other creators have for me :)
