Experience

I've been teaching Spanish (novice to intermediate/advanced levels) for the past six years. Over the years, I've gathered resources and strategies that have helped improve my pedagogy in the Spanish language. Teaching style

Mostly using comprehensible input strategies with a focus on reading and writing in the target language. As a teacher, I find it useful to use visual scaffolds, such as Cornell Notes, to reinforce vocabulary acquisition in the target language. I've noticed that reading activities require comprehension questions and/or discussions to promote student engagement and reading resilience.
