For 10 years now I have been showing a topic for Music Monday, Science Tuesday, Artwork Wednesday, Travel Thursday, and Famous Person Friday each day at morning meeting. My students from Pre-K to 8th grade love it and 10-15 minutes exposes students to so many amazing topics and ideas! Each file comes with a print out to hang or put on the smartboard. This is a two page reading activity about manatees. Material is broken up into short paragraphs with a picture coordinated to the subject matter. At the conclusion of the reading is a 7 question assessment. Each question has three choices. This lesson was designed for a special education lesson for a class of students at varying reading abilities. Please check my store for other differentiated manatee reading activities.
