For 10 years now I have been showing a topic for Music Monday, Science Tuesday, Artwork Wednesday, Travel Thursday, and Famous Person Friday each day at morning meeting. My students from Pre-K to 8th grade love it and 10-15 minutes exposes students to so many amazing topics and ideas! Each file comes with a print out to hang or put on the smartboard. This is a two page reading activity about manatees. Material is broken up into short paragraphs with a picture coordinated to the subject matter. At the conclusion of the reading is a 7 question assessment. Each question has three choices. This lesson was designed for a special education lesson for a class of students at varying reading abilities. Please check my store for other differentiated manatee reading activities.

This is a Powerpoint I created to use for a virtual field trip to the Museum of Natural History in New York City! Kids will love learning about the real life exhibits featured in the movie "Night at the Museum". This PP includes the trailer to the movie to gives students schema about the exhibits as well as real facts about the cool things they will see at the museum!

These were made to scaffold student learning with the manatee reading activities and assessments in my store. Each card has a picture next to the word to facilitate student learning. These can be hung in the room or given to students for a vocabulary notebook.
