If online real estate sites had existed in 1803, what kind of listing would they create to sell the Louisiana Territory? This download includes directions, a rubric and a student example students can grade using the rubric so they understand expectations. Students research aspects of the Louisiana Territory to create their listing.

After studying the differences between Northern and Southern states prior to the Civil War, this project gives students an interactive and creative way to symbolize these differences by creating a flag, meme or symbols of the different regions. A rubric and directions are included.
