Student-Centered Chart For Collecting Student School Supplies
What teacher doesn't dread collecting all those school supplies on the first day? To encourage independence, I put this chart on each child's desk and make them accountable to mark off what they've brought. The chart then goes home with an included letter to parents on the first day of school. Anything not marked is still needed. Customizable for your own classroom needs. Parent letter included.

Students learn best when they're up and moving, creating, and building understanding through the experiential and constructivist models.

I have served as team leader for my grade level, as well as served as a mentor for first-year teachers. It's been my pleasure to work as the cooperating teacher for multiple student teachers.
